Hey! You aren’t perfect!
Okay, sorry! that sounds rude. Luckily that isn’t my intention. As you all know, recently I have been going through a lot of change and taking on more “real world” things than ever before. I have come to realize everything I do from now on matters. Every time I take an exam, every time I step up on a block to race, every relationship I make, the example I set as a daughter of God, and what I do with my money. All of this will set up my future, which I have have BIG dreams for haha! So you could see how I want all of these things to be perfect.
I am sure you have all felt this pressure before as well, or at least I hope you have within your ambitions. I want you to stop being so hard on yourself. you are going to fail! thats how the world is set up. I know saying that is harder than doing it. Believe me. There is no one in your life that will judge you harder than yourself. if you do, either they really care about you or they don’t deserve a second thought from you. Imagine if everytime something didn’t go perfect, you got back up and said it’ll be better next time because I just learned something. Now that is the secret sauce. Have faith in yourself. We were sent here to do our best. Thats what we agreed to when we were sent to this earth. Heavenly Father didn’t say “you go down there and be perfect, one mistake and you’re out” he didn’t even give us a three -strike rule! How merciful is that! Allow yourself the same mercy. If you fail, 99% of the time it won’t matter in a year.
Life will work out if you work for what you desire and continue to move forward! Do what makes you feel confident. Check up on yourself daily. Be a person you’d be proud of. Surround yourself by people who make you the best version of you and be that person for someone else.
If all else fails, be a good person and never give up on your dreams. Everyday is a new opportunity. Celebrate your successes and remember those moments! Remember and celebrate others successes! No room to hold onto yours and others mistakes.
Things can look bad sometimes but remember “Be of good cheer. The future is as bright as your faith” Thomas S. Monson April 2009 GC. Talk worth reading!! https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/study/general-conference/2021/10/35wilcox <3 Elliott
